Arm & Thigh Lift

For men and women who have achieved major weight loss, or who have loose skin in the upper arms or thighs, plastic surgery can help.

An arm lift targets loose skin and tissue on the upper arms, while a thigh lift smoothes the contours of the inner and outer thighs, helping your body look slimmer and shapelier again.
If you’d like to learn more about how an arm lift or thigh lift can make a difference for you, please don’t hesitate to request a consultation online. Dr. Daniel Del Vecchio, a board-certified plastic surgeon, is a leading innovator in body contouring advancements. He has the right combination of skills and expertise to give you the look that you deserve.

Am I a Candidate?

Dr. Del Vecchio believes that the best arm and thigh lift results are seen in patients who have realistic expectations of what can be accomplished and are in good health. Arm lift and thigh lift surgery are particularly helpful to people who have undergone massive weight loss after gastric bypass surgery, or to resolve a loss of skin elasticity in older patients. If you anticipate a significant loss of weight in the future, it’s best to postpone your arm or thigh lift consultation until you have achieved your target weight to achieve optimal results.
At your consultation, Dr. Del Vecchio will work closely with you to ensure open communication about your hopes for the procedure. Depending on your individual needs, Dr. Del Vecchio may suggest liposuction be used in conjunction with the lift surgery to remove excess fat in the target area. With thigh lift surgery, liposuction may be performed alone initially, then followed up with surgery later if liposuction alone does not improve body contours.
